On Wednesday, the rupee crossed the 90 mark against the dollar for the first time and closed at a new all-time low of 90.15.

The rupee fell 28 paise to its all-time low of 90.43 against the US dollar on Thursday.
Forex traders said the rupee’s exchange rate continued to decline due to limited central bank intervention and heavy demand for the dollar from importers ahead of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting to be announced on Friday.
The rupee opened at 90.36 against the dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market. In early trade, it fell further by 28 paise to its all-time low of 90.43 against the dollar.
On Wednesday, the rupee crossed the 90 mark for the first time against the dollar and closed at a new all-time low of 90.15.
