RPF constable fired indiscriminately inside a train going from Gujarat to Mumbai. Inside the train, the RPF jawan gunned down four people one after the other. Three passengers including an ASI of RPF have died in this firing.

In a horrific incident, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable shot dead his colleague and three passengers on the Jaipur-Mumbai Express here on Monday.
According to the GRP control, the incident took place around 5.30 am on Monday between Virar and Mira Road stations.
A scuffle broke out between two on-duty RPF constables when one started firing at the other. A constable and three other passengers, including a woman, were killed in the firing. Accused has been arrested. Police and RPF officials are probing the incident.
DRM Neeraj Verma told that at around 6 am we came to know that an RPF constable posted on escorting duty opened fire…four people have been shot…our railway officials reached the spot. Next of kin have been contacted. Ex-gratia amount will be given.
