Six members of a family traveling in the car were killed and two others injured when a truck hit a car in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district on Sunday.

A major accident took place in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan on Sunday. An unknown vehicle hit the car. In this incident, six people of the same family traveling in the car died and two others were injured. Giving information about the incident, police said that this accident happened near Banas River Bridge on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway when an unknown vehicle hit a car.
Police said that the people in the car were going to worship at the Ganesh temple in Sawai Madhopur. Sub-inspector Dharampal Singh of Baunli police station said, “An unknown vehicle hit the car, due to which six people of the same family died and two were injured.” He said that two injured are being treated in the government hospital.
Identification of the dead
The deceased have been identified. Police said that the deceased were identified as Manish Sharma and his wife Anita, Kailash Sharma and his wife Santosh, Satish Sharma and his wife Poonam. The injured have been identified as Manan and Deepali, children of Manish Sharma. Police said that the vehicle that hit the car is being identified and searched.
Driver dies after truck overturns
Earlier on Wednesday, a truck went out of control and overturned in Guda Endala police station area of Pali district of Rajasthan, in which the driver died. The driver was identified as Aamir (35), resident of Masuda, Ajmer. Police said that the truck became unbalanced and overturned on the roadside near Dhani of Rampura. After the truck overturned, it caught fire, resulting in the death of the driver. (Language)
