A major accident took place yesterday morning in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. Where the roof of the government school in Piplodi village collapsed on the children. 7 children died and 34 children were injured due to being buried under the debris of the roof. After the accident, there was chaos in the entire village. During this time, when the officials reached the village to get information about the accident, the family members got angry. The villagers vandalized the police vehicle, set it on fire and protested on the road. The police used force to control the crowd.
Bhajanlal expressed grief
Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma expressed deep grief over the tragic accident in Jhalawar, Rajasthan and said that he is saddened by the death of innocent children in this incident. The Rajasthan government is with the families affected by this incident. Instructions have been given to the administration for better treatment of the injured. Also, an investigation will be conducted to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.
Tribute was paid to the innocent children who died in the heart-wrenching accident of the roof of the school building in Piplodi village of Jhalawar district by observing silence in a high-level meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence.
Compensation to the family of the deceased student
The Rajasthan government has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family of each deceased student. Along with this, a job has also been announced to one member of the family. The school in dilapidated condition will be rebuilt and the new classrooms will be named in the memory of the children buried under the debris.
Reason for roof collapse
According to the information, the accident happened on Friday morning at around 8:30 am, shortly after the school started. This school is quite old. There was heavy rain in the area in the last few days. After this, the school building had become damp. This morning the children were studying in the classrooms. During that time, the roof of a classroom suddenly collapsed. Due to this, the children sitting there got buried in it. As soon as the accident happened, there was chaos in the school.
