Rajasthan accident: Van carrying Khatu Shyam devotees rams truck, 4 children among 11 killed

A horrific road accident has taken place in Dausa, Rajasthan. The car of devotees returning after visiting Khatushyam temple collided with a pickup truck. During this, a horrific accident took place and 11 people have died.

According to the information, 7 children and 3 women are among those killed. Dausa Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravi Prakash Sharma said, “The total number of people killed in the accident between a passenger pickup and a trailer truck near Bapi has now risen to 11, a person admitted to the hospital has died.”

This accident happened when the devotees were returning home after visiting Khatushyamji temple. According to officials, the car collided with a parked truck. The matter is under investigation, only after which more information will be revealed.

Confirming the accident, Superintendent of Police Sagar Rana said, “Information has been received that devotees coming from Khatu Shyam temple have become victims of an accident. There are reports of many casualties. About 7-8 people have been referred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur.”

Dausa District Collector Devendra Kumar said, “According to initial reports, 10 people have died in an accident near Bapi. 9 people have been referred for treatment and 3 people are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. The accident took place between a passenger pickup and a trailer truck.”

This accident happened just three days after five people died in a car-trailer collision in Dausa. The accident took place when the trailer suddenly broke into two parts and collided with the car, killing two people on the spot. Three others died on the way to the hospital. The victims were returning to their village from Jaipur after giving a competitive exam.
