Three people died in a horrific collision between a sleeper bus and a truck in Fatehpur Shekhawati. 28 passengers were injured, seven of whom are in critical condition. The accident occurred near Fatehpur on the Jaipur-Bikaner National Highway late Tuesday night at 10:40 PM. According to reports, the sleeper bus was traveling from Bikaner towards Jaipur, while the truck was going from Jhunjhunu to Bikaner. The collision was so severe that the front of the bus was completely destroyed. Many passengers were trapped in their seats.
Screams and cries for help
After the accident, there were screams and cries for help at the scene. Vehicles passing on the highway stopped. Local residents immediately informed the police and ambulances. A great effort was required to rescue the passengers trapped in the bus. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital. Several teams of doctors are involved in their treatment.
Three dead, including the bus driver
In the accident, bus passenger Mayank and driver Kamlesh died. The identity of one deceased person is yet to be confirmed. 15 injured people, including Anant, Tushar son of Arjun, Rajesh son of Omprakash, Praveen son of Babu Bhai, Ranjana wife of Suresh Bhai, Mukta Ben daughter of Shaitan Singh, Ashish son of Ramlal, and Nilesh son of Amit, have been referred to Sikar.
All passengers injured
These also include Suhani daughter of Amit, Karmal Ben, Jamwant son of Udaram, Suda Ben daughter of Uttam, Arjun son of Ukal Bhai, Amit son of Raman Lal, and Sheela Ben wife of Mahesh Bhai. 13 injured are admitted to Fatehpur hospital. These include Mahesh Bhai wife of Shaitan Singh, Ganga Ben wife of Govind Bhai, Kanchan, Saket Pal, Laddu son of Vishnu, Ramila, Ranjit, Arjun, Sangita, Paritesh, Atul, Indu Ben wife of Jeevan Bhai and one other.
A sudden, strong jolt
Sheela Ben, who was sitting in seat number two on the bus, suffered a nasal fracture. Sheela Ben said, “We were going to Khatu Shyamji. Most of the passengers were asleep.” I was with my son.
