President Draupadi Murmu has arrived on her three-day visit to Uttarakhand. President Draupadi Murmu arrived at Jolly Grant Airport around 11 am. Governor Gurmit Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed her. Afterward, President Draupadi Murmu departed for Patanjali University.
A convocation ceremony is currently underway in Haridwar, where President Draupadi Murmu, Uttarakhand Governor Gurmit Singh, and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami are present.
According to President Draupadi Murmu’s scheduled visit, she will remain in Uttarakhand for the next three days, currently attending the convocation ceremony at the University of Patanjali. Following this, the President will inaugurate the foot overbridge outside Rashtrapati Niketan in Dehradun at 1:30 pm.
Following this, on November 3, the second day of her visit to Uttarakhand, the President will address the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in Dehradun on the occasion of the state’s silver jubilee. A two-day special session of the Legislative Assembly is being held to mark the 25th anniversary of the State’s Foundation Day. The President will address the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly on the first day.
After addressing the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, the President will depart for Nainital. She will also attend the celebrations marking the 125th anniversary of the Raj Bhavan in Nainital. On November 4th, President Draupadi Murmu will visit the Neem Karoli Ashram at Kainchi Dham on the third day of her visit to Uttarakhand. Furthermore, before returning to New Delhi, the President will also attend the 20th convocation of Kumaon University in Nainital.
