Pentagon identifies 4 of the 6 troops killed in drone strike in US-Iran conflict

The Pentagon has identified and released photographs of four American soldiers killed in the Iran war. These soldiers were killed in an Iranian drone attack on a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait.

The Pentagon today identified four American soldiers killed in the Iran war and released their photographs. These soldiers were killed in an Iranian drone attack on a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait. A total of six soldiers were killed in the attack, but two have not yet been identified.

The soldiers were deployed with the 103rd Sustainment Command Unit.

The Pentagon stated that these four soldiers were from Iowa and were deployed with the Army Reserve’s 103rd Sustainment Command Unit. This unit provides essential supplies such as food, water, fuel, ammunition, and transportation to soldiers. The attack occurred on Sunday, and the Pentagon released the details today. These include:

  • Captain Cody Khork, 35, Iowa
  • Sergeant First Class Noah Tietjens, 42, Iowa
  • Sergeant First Class Nicole Amor, 39, Iowa
  • Sergeant Declan Cody, 20, Iowa

All four soldiers belonged to the same unit and lost their lives in service to their country. The Pentagon has released photos of them, showing them in their uniforms.

More deaths may occur in war: Trump

Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll said of the incident, “All of these brave men and women volunteered to defend their country. We will never forget their sacrifice.” President Donald Trump also commented, saying that tragically, more deaths may occur before this war ends. That’s what happens.
