उप्र के जौनपुर में स्ट्रांग रूम के बाहर EVM से भरा मिनी ट्रक मिला, सपा कार्यकर्ताओं का हंगामा
After the end of voting in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur on Saturday, there was a commotion in the strong room of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University when a mini truck full of EVMs reached there. Supporters of Samajwadi Party candidate Babu Singh Kushwaha present at the spot stopped the truck and started questioning. The driver and officer on board the truck told that these are reserve EVMs, which are replaced when they get damaged during voting and they came here by mistake.
Within no time, a gathering of Samajwadi Party workers gathered at the spot. DM, SP and other officers reached the spot. Samajwadi Party workers said that the way the EVM machine was brought here through a mini truck without checking, it raises suspicion that some attempt is being made to create something wrong during the counting of votes.
Samajwadi Party candidate Babu Singh Kushwaha said that around 10-11 pm the mini truck came from Badlapur side. This is Firozabad numbered vehicle. It was applied with great care. When the party mates saw the vehicle, they chased it. When the car stopped, I asked where it was going and what was in it, but got no answer. A policeman was also with him.
After this the driver ran away. The car remained standing for more than an hour. Then people saw and discussed it. After some time there was a conversation with the officials. The District Magistrate first described it as Machlishahar. Later he said that it contains reserve EVM machines of Mungra Badshahpur.
On one side, BJP is losing. Everyone is already suspicious about the machines. We too have doubts, people also have doubts and the people of the entire country also have doubts. No one trusts these people, so when such an incident happens there is no more trust. The District Magistrate has said that we will show the list. Ultimately after matching the papers it was revealed that these EVMs were kept in reserve. By mistake, she reached Purvanchal University campus instead of Collector campus.
District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad said that AROs are reserve machines of the head quarter. The truck was going from Mungra Badshahpur to the warehouse. There was a traffic jam outside, so the Nayab Tehsildar in charge talked to the Nayab Tehsildar here and got the truck parked here. Regarding this, Samajwadi Party candidates and supporters protested and raised questions. The District Magistrate said that the strong room had already been sealed. After which all the EVMs have been matched through the list. People are satisfied.
