An incident of beheading of a mother of four children by the Panchayat for running away from home has come to light in the Mahnar police station area of Vaishali district of Bihar. The police is investigating the entire matter. It is being told that the entire incident took place in Deshrajpur village, where a woman had recently left home. When the woman returned, she started arguing with her husband. The Panchayat met on Thursday regarding this, in which the woman’s husband was ordered to shave the hair of his wife’s head.
It is alleged that the husband locked his wife in the house, tied her hands and legs and then brutally cut the hair on her head with scissors. The video of hair being cut from the victim’s head is going viral on social media.
It is being claimed that Deepak Kumar, husband of the local ward councilor, had given this order in the Panchayat. As soon as the police got wind of this matter, they reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
Mahnar SDPO Pritish Kumar said that the police have brought the victim and her husband to the police station and are interrogating them. Whoever is found guilty in this case, action will be taken against him.
