A Pakistani boxer has gone missing in Italy after stealing money from his teammate’s bag. Pakistan Amateur Boxing Federation revealed this on Tuesday. Zohaib Rashid had gone to Italy to participate in the Olympic qualifying tournament.
A senior official of the federation said that they informed the Pakistan Embassy in Italy and have also filed a police report on the matter.

Zoheb had won a bronze medal in the Asian Boxing Championship last year.
Nasir told that female boxer Laura Ikram had gone for practice and Zoheb took her room key from the front desk and foreign currency from her purse. After this he disappeared from the hotel.
“Police have been informed and they are searching for him but he is not in contact with anyone,” he said.
This is not the first time that a Pakistani player has gone abroad and disappeared.
