Trump has revealed that Pakistan is among the countries actively conducting nuclear testing. He said that the activities of countries like Russia, China, North Korea, and Pakistan are proof that the US should also resume its nuclear tests.
In an interview on CBS News’ 60 Minutes on Sunday, Trump said, “Russia and China are testing, but they don’t talk about it. We are an open society, we talk because we have a free press.”
Trump said, “We will test because they are. North Korea is testing, Pakistan is also testing.” He made this statement when he was asked about the US decision to resume nuclear testing after 30 years following Russia’s testing of new nuclear weapons.
