The yatra, which entered Nuh district around 11 am, ended around 5.30 pm with Jalabhishek at three major temples in the district – Nalhar Mahadev temple, Jhir temple in Ferozepur Jhirka and the temple in Singar village.

The Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra, which was affected by violence last year, concluded peacefully on Monday amid tight security arrangements. People from both Hindu and Muslim communities welcomed the procession at different places.
Spiritual leader Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dharamdev said that this year’s yatra has given a strong message of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood across the country.
Chanting slogans of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’, the devotees started the yatra from Nalhar Mahadev temple and later left for Jhir temple in Ferozepur Jhirka. The nearly 80-km yatra concluded at the temple in Singar village in the evening.
In view of the yatra, tight security arrangements were made with the deployment of over 2,000 security personnel, including paramilitary forces, and surveillance was carried out through drones to keep an eye on anti-social elements.
Meetings between representatives of both the communities proved effective in ensuring a peaceful conduct of the yatra, officials said.

Earlier in the morning, several devotees participating in the yatra gathered at the Radha Krishna temple in Sector 10 in Gurugram before leaving for the Nalhar temple.
Before the start of the yatra, a large number of women reached the Nalhar Mahadev temple from the Bhuteshwar temple here at around 11 am. They were warmly welcomed by the Muslim community at Tiranga Chowk.
Several groups of Muslims welcomed the saints and other devotees participating in the yatra with flowers and garlands at various places.
Dr. Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, President of the All India Imams Organisation, visited the Nalhar Mahadev temple in Nuh on Sunday evening to appeal for peace.
Swami Dharmdev said that this year’s yatra has given a big message of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood across the country and congratulated both the communities for this achievement.
The Haryana government on Sunday ordered the suspension of mobile internet and SMS services for 24 hours in Nuh district in view of the yatra.
Six people, including two home guards and an imam of a Gurugram mosque, were killed in clashes after a mob attacked the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Shobha Yatra in Nuh on July 31 last year.
Earlier in the day, Nuh Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadagta told PTI, “The situation is very peaceful and cordial ahead of the yatra and both communities (Hindus and Muslims) are ready to welcome it.” He said several welcome gates have been built and food stalls have been set up for the yatra participants. A flag march was taken out in the district on Sunday in the presence of the Superintendent of Police. According to official orders, liquor shops will remain closed till the yatra is over. Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Manesar leader Devendra Singh said the procession became more devotional and brotherly when Muslims welcomed Hindus by garlanding them. Nuh Superintendent of Police Vijay Pratap Singh said, “What happened last year was unfortunate, but this time the yatra was peaceful and successful. The efforts of the police and the administration proved to be effective.”
