Nitish Kumar takes oath as Bihar CM for the 9th time after he along with his party joined the BJP-led NDA bloc

Along with Nitish, many ministers of the NDA government were also sworn in. Among them, Bihar BJP President Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Dr. Prem Kumar, Vijay Chaudhary, Vijendra Yadav, Sumit Kumar, Santosh Suman took oath as ministers.

There has been a change of power in Bihar and the NDA government has come to power in place of the Grand Alliance. But despite the changes, Nitish Kumar has remained the Chief Minister. After breaking ties with the grand alliance and joining hands with BJP on Sunday morning, Nitish took oath as the CM of the state for the 9th time in the evening.

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Nitish Kumar as CM in the swearing-in ceremony held at Rajendra Mandap of Raj Bhavan. After this the ministers of the NDA government were sworn in. Among them are Bihar BJP President Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha. Dr. Prem Kumar, Vijay Chaudhary, Vijendra Yadav, Sumit Kumar, Santosh Suman took oath as ministers.

As soon as Nitish took oath as the Chief Minister, the NDA government once again came to power in Bihar. As soon as Nitish took oath, the Raj Bhavan of Bihar started resonating with slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Modi-Modi. On this occasion, BJP National President JP Nadda, Chirag Paswan, Pashupati Kumar Paras, Upendra Kushwaha were also present.

Earlier, Nitish Kumar had gone to Raj Bhavan on Sunday morning and resigned from the post of Chief Minister, after which the Grand Alliance government was dissolved. After this, Nitish again went to Raj Bhavan along with BJP leaders and submitted the letter of support of BJP and Hindustani Awam Morcha to the Governor, laying claim to form the government.
