Lokesh Singla, an accused in the infamous Nasir-Junaid murder case of Rajasthan and an alleged cow protector, has committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on the Delhi-Agra railway track near Palwal. Singla recorded a video before taking his life, in which he alleged constant harassment by Bajrang Dal members. This video is now going viral on social media.

In a video sent to his wife, Singla said that Bajrang Dal’s Haryana unit convenor Bharat Bhushan, Harkesh Yadav and Anil Kaushik were threatening him and threatening to implicate him in false cases. In the video, Singla demanded strict action against these three from the police.
Singla’s wife complained to the police
Singla’s wife Damyanti has lodged a complaint with the police, in which she supported her husband’s allegations. Damyanti said that Singla, who was a social worker in Nuh district, was being harassed, followed and threatened by these three people for some time. According to Damyanti, her husband was very scared of these threats and was broken from inside, due to which he took this step.
Based on Damyanti’s complaint, the police have registered a case (FIR) of abetment to suicide against the three accused, according to Faridabad Deputy Superintendent Rajesh Chechi, and the investigation is on.
Singla was accused in the Nasir-Junaid murder case
Lokesh Singla was an accused in the case related to the burnt bodies of Nasir and Junaid found in a jeep on the Rajasthan-Haryana border on February 16, 2023. It is alleged that some cow protectors had kidnapped Nasir and Junaid, after which the bodies of Nasir-Junaid were found burnt in the jeep. Singla’s involvement in this matter has been a subject of investigation.
