Flight operations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) will be shut for six hours on May 9 due to runway maintenance ahead of the onset of monsoon, airport operator MIAL said on Saturday.
Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) also said that the mandatory NOTAM (notice to airmen) was issued six months ago to inform all stakeholders. The private sector operator said that pre-monsoon maintenance work on both runways – 09/27 and 14/32 – will be carried out from 11 am to 5 pm on May 9.
