A major accident has taken place in Kota city of Rajasthan on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. This accident happened during Kota Shiv Baraat. During this period, about 14 children got burnt due to electric shock. This incident took place near Kunhadi Thermal intersection at around 12:30 pm. After the incident, the people present at the spot immediately took the injured children and admitted them to MBBS Hospital, where doctors are treating them.
Accident happened during procession
It is being told that at the place where this major accident took place during the procession in Sakatpur Kali Basti, the high tension power line wires were very low. This is why children get electrocuted. The negligence of the electricity department is clearly visible behind this accident.
Energy Minister reached the spot, ordered investigation…
It is being told that there was a loud explosion after this accident. After the blast, the people present nearby ran quickly towards the spot and the injured were taken to the hospital. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, a yatra was being taken out in Kali Basti of Sakatpur in Kota. During this time the children had placed a flag on a long pipe. Children were walking with this flag when suddenly the pipe touched the high tension line and current spread in the pipe.
The condition of two children in this incident is said to be critical. After this incident, the Energy Minister of the state also reached the hospital and inquired about the well being of the children. He has also issued orders for investigation into this incident.
