मप्र: CM का पहला फैसला, धार्मिक स्थलों पर लाउडस्पीकर बैन, खुले में गोश्त की बिक्री पर रोक
Mohan Yadav has come into action immediately after taking oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. In his first order after becoming the Chief Minister, Mohan Yadav issued an order to ban loud loudspeakers at religious places. The newly elected government of Madhya Pradesh has cited the guidelines of the Supreme Court for this order. Along with this, an order was also issued to ban the sale of meat in the open in the state.
PM also attended the oath ceremony
Earlier, Mohan Yadav (58) was administered the oath of office by Governor Mangubhai Patel at Lal Parade Ground in the state capital Bhopal. The Governor administered the oath of office to Jagdish Deora (MLA from Malhargarh, Mandsaur) and Rajendra Shukla (MLA from Rewa) as Deputy Chief Ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda and Shivraj Singh Chauhan were present in the program.
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia and Nitin Gadkari were also present. Before going to the oath ceremony, Yadav offered prayers at a temple in Bhopal.
Mohan Yadav is the 19th CM of the state
He also visited the state BJP office to pay tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, one of the founding members of the Jan Sangh, and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founding ideologue of the BJP. Asked about his priorities, Yadav said, ‘We will focus on development in education, health, employment (sectors) and all other sectors in the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi ji.’ Yadav, a three-time BJP MLA, is from Central India. He is the 19th Chief Minister of the state.
End of Shivraj era
Since 2003, all the three Chief Ministers of BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti, Babulal Gaur and Shivraj Singh Chauhan, have been from Other Backward Classes. Besides, Yadav also comes from OBC category. Yadav’s appointment as chief minister also ends the era of BJP veteran and four-time chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who dominated state politics for nearly two decades. Yadav was not among the contenders for the post of Chief Minister. Giving him the responsibility of an important post is being seen as a move by the BJP to strengthen its hold on the Other Backward Class (OBC) community before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The share of OBCs in the population of Madhya Pradesh is more than 48 percent.
