Modi’s instructions to ministers focus on Sanatana remark row, India-Bharat debate

The Prime Minister has asked his ministers to respond in a befitting manner and strictly to Tamil Nadu CM Stalin’s son and minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s statement on Sanatana Dharma. It is clear that BJP is going to make Udayanidhi’s statement a big and nationwide issue.

PM Modi seems to have come on the backfoot on the India vs India controversy. In fact, in the Union Cabinet meeting called for the G-20 summit, the PM has advised all the ministers to avoid speaking on India vs India. However, he has instructed Udhayanidhi Stalin to respond properly and strictly to the statement made on Sanatan Dharma.

A presentation regarding the G-20 summit was also given in the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers on Wednesday. While presiding over the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Modi has also advised all the ministers to download the G-20 India Mobile App. Through this app, ministers will be helped to interact with foreign representatives. As long as India holds the presidency of G-20, this app will work till then. In view of the G-20 conference, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India has specially launched this app. This app can be accessed in multiple languages.

It is being told that, in the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also advised all the ministers to avoid rhetoric regarding India vs India debate in the context of G-20 summit. Along with this, the Prime Minister has asked his ministers to respond properly and strictly to the statement given by Udhayanidhi Stalin on Sanatan Dharma. It is clear that BJP is going to make the statement of Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and a minister in the state government, a big and nationwide issue.

Along with this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G-20 summit also asked the ministers to use the bus bridge while advising them to avoid VVIP culture. He has advised the ministers attending the dinner hosted by the President on September 9 to first reach the Parliament House and board a bus from there to the venue.
