Jharkhand: Father commits suicide after killing 3 children in Giridih
झारखंड: गिरिडीह में पिता ने 3 बच्चों की हत्या के बाद की खुदकुशी
In Giridih district of Jharkhand, a man killed his two minor daughters and a son and then committed suicide. When the news of this heart-wrenching incident spread in the area on Sunday morning, people were stunned. Police reached the spot after getting the information.
The bodies of all four have been taken to Giridih Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. This incident is from Maheshlitti village. The deceased include 36-year-old Sanaul Ansari, Sanaul’s two daughters Afreen Parveen (12 years) and Zaiba Naz (8 years) and son Safaul Ansari (6 years). Sanaul Ansari’s wife had gone to her maternal home in Jamdha village of Giridih district two days ago.
It is estimated that the incident happened around 2-3 o’clock in the night. People came to know about it on Sunday morning when the neighbors knocked on Sanaul’s door after there was no movement in his house even after Ramadan’s Sehri. When no sound was heard, people somehow entered inside and found Sanaul Ansari hanging while his three children were lying dead there.
The police of Khukhara police station of Pirtand block was immediately informed about this. Dumri SDPO Sumit Prasad also reached the spot. The SDPO said that in the preliminary investigation it has come to light that Sanaul strangled his three children to death and then hanged himself. Sanaul used to work as a mason. Apart from this, he also ran a small ration and clothes shop in his house. The reason behind the incident is not known.
Sanaul’s wife has reached the village after getting information about the incident. Police say that after questioning her, the reason behind the incident can probably be known. Police is investigating all the aspects related to the incident.
