According to reports, a tribal man under Mahuljhir police station area killed eight members of his family by chopping them with an axe. The accused carried out this incident last night.
Superintendent of Police Manish Khatri told the media that tribal Dinesh killed eight members of his family with an axe and then committed suicide. The accused is said to be mentally deranged. He had got married some time ago.
After the incident, the bodies of the dead are lying in the house. Police has reached the spot. The bodies are being sent for postmortem. This incident has created panic in the entire area.
