Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and three others have died in a plane crash. This has been officially confirmed. According to local media reports, Ajit Pawar’s plane crashed during landing. The accident occurred when the aircraft was attempting to land in Baramati airspace.

Reports indicate that the plane crashed during landing. The incident occurred around 9 AM. The plane had taken off from Mumbai and crashed approximately an hour later. Images from Baramati show the plane engulfed in flames after the crash, with debris scattered over a wide area. An ambulance was also seen leaving the scene. According to the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), six people have died in the accident.
Information has emerged that Ajit Pawar was scheduled to travel to Baramati to attend rallies on Wednesday ahead of the local body elections.
