An accident has occurred due to LPG cylinder explosion in Bandra area of Mumbai. Five people were seriously burnt in the fire. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.

Five people have been injured due to LPG gas cylinder explosion in Mumbai. This accident happened in Bandra area of Mumbai. A fire broke out due to the explosion of an LPG gas cylinder. Five people were injured after being hit by it.

According to BMC, as soon as information about the fire in Bandra area was received, fire tenders reached the spot and brought the fire under control. BMC said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Officials said five people suffered burn injuries in the fire.

Officials said the fire broke out due to an explosion in an LPG cylinder. The injured have been identified as Nikhil Jogesh Das (53), Rakesh Ramjanam Sharma (38), Anthony Paul Thengal (65), Kalicharan Majilal Kanojia (54) and Shan Ali Zakir Ali Siddiqui (31).

A Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation official said that as soon as information about the fire was received, fire tenders reached the spot and brought the fire under control. According to the official, the injured are undergoing treatment at Bhabha Hospital in Bandra.
