Tiwari joined the Congress along with his supporters in the presence of former Madhya Pradesh CM and Congress leader Digvijay Singh.

Two days ago, BJP’s state minister and former MLA Madan Kushwaha left BJP and joined Congress, while on Wednesday, Brijendra Tiwari, former BJP MLA from Bhitarwar, joined Congress along with about 3000 of his workers.

Scindia supporter got ticket instead of Tiwari

Let us tell you that apart from former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, Leader of Opposition Dr. Govind Singh, Congress MLA and former minister Lakhan Singh, Praveen Pathak was also present to include Brijendra Tiwari in Congress. He assured that he will now work to make Congress victorious. Let us tell you that Brijendra Tiwari was considered a candidate for ticket from Bharatiya Janata Party, but after not giving him the ticket, the party fielded Mohan Singh Rathore, a supporter of Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Congress has advantage in Bhitarwar and Gwalior South seats

Brijendra Tiwari was angry after being denied the ticket and finally he gave a big blow to BJP before the elections. With Brijendra Tiwari joining Congress, Congress is expected to benefit from Bhitarwar and Gwalior South seats. Let us also tell you that apart from Brijendra Tiwari, BJP leader Shyam Sundar Singh Jadaun, who was the president of a cooperative bank twice from Bhind district, also took membership of Congress.

During this, former MLA Brijendra Tiwari said about leaving BJP that he had left the party not today but in 2013 itself. He said that even at that time, whatever I said, I used to say it clearly, whether it was against the government or the party. During this, Brijendra Tiwari said that the condition of BJP in Madhya Pradesh is going to be like Karnataka. He said that the party had not conducted the survey in my name. Even in the survey, the public was saying that none of them would be able to defeat him (Brijendra Tiwari).
