The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon when lawyer Monu Choudhary was eating food inside chamber number-95. Monu Chaudhary’s body was found in a bloody condition on his chair. He had also contested the Tehsil Bar Association elections. At present, a large number of lawyers have gathered in the Tehsil premises and the police is investigating on the spot.
Ghaziabad’s Additional Commissioner of Police Dinesh Kumar told that today a lawyer named Manoj Chaudhary was having lunch with the document writer in his chamber in Tehsil Bar premises. Two people came in the chamber with their faces covered and one of them went straight towards Manoj and shot him. They left immediately. As soon as we got the information, we came to the spot for investigation. Investigation is on to identify the accused.
According to the information, this incident took place around 2 pm on Wednesday in Chamber No. 95 of Sadar Tehsil of Sihani Gate police station area. It is being said that the attackers came on foot and fled after committing the crime. At present, the body has been taken into custody by the police and sent for postmortem. The area has been converted into a cantonment. Police is gathering information by talking to nearby CCTV cameras and other people to get clues about the attackers.
