A house was destroyed in Bedar village of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday amid continuous rain in Mandi sector for the last three days. The destroyed house belonged to Mohammad Sharif.
A local resident Imtiaz Ahmed said that he has requested the administration to provide financial assistance. The administration had issued an advisory regarding landslides in which people were appealed to stay at home. Meanwhile, a house of Mohammad Sharif was damaged.
He said that we had already shifted half the family from here. They have suffered huge losses in this. We thank the Tehsildar and BDO for the visit of the Revenue Department and Panchayat Department. We request the administration to help the family financially so that they can build their house somewhere else.
