Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani on Monday announced that Jio Air Fiber will be launched on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19, giving the company another opportunity to drive customer value and revenue growth in the Indian home segment. . “Jio Air Fiber uses our pan-India 5G network and advanced wireless technology to meet the last-mile fiber requirement,” Ambani said at RIL’s 46th AGM.
He said, “Through optical fibre, we can currently add around 15,000 connections per day. But with Jio Air Fibre, we can supercharge this expansion to 150,000 connections per day, which is a 10x increase, in the next three years we expect to reach around 200 million homes.”
