Employees of a micro finance company in Garhwa, Jharkhand held a woman’s 12-year-old son Anish Kumar hostage for failing to repay the loan on time. After receiving the complaint, the police freed him after 14 days on Friday evening.
The police arrested the branch manager of the finance company, Nigam Yadav, who was sent to jail in judicial custody on Saturday. An FIR has been registered against two other employees of the company.

Minor Anish told that two weeks ago he and his elder sister were alone at home. During that time, bank officials came to search for his mother. On the pretext of searching for his mother, they made him sit in the car and took him to the branch located near Nagar Untari Henho turn, where he was taken hostage.
After this, his mother was informed that the son would remain in our custody until she returned the outstanding money. During this period, children were made to do menial jobs.

On receiving the complaint, city SDPO Satyendra Narayan Singh formed a police team and freed the boy from the branch of the finance company located near Henho Mod.
Anish told that bank employee Umashankar Tiwari used to beat him. Dirty clothes and dirty utensils were cleaned with him. After drinking alcohol, he used to make him throw the bottles also. He was threatened that if your mother did not repay the loan, your kidneys and eyes would be taken out and sold.
