The IP (Internet Protocol) address of the Facebook post claiming responsibility for the shooting outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence has been found to be from Portugal. A senior police officer gave this information on Monday.
He said that prima facie it appeared that the shooters had conducted a recce a few days ago around the Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, a Mumbai suburb, where Khan lives.
Police suspect that a VPN (Virtual Private Network) was allegedly used to upload the Facebook post by Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi on Sunday, he said.
