Starting to scare once again. 656 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. Whereas one patient has also died in the last 24 hours. If we talk about active cases of Corona, now there are a total of 3742 such cases in the country.
423 new cases of Corona were reported on Saturday. According to Health Ministry data, there were currently 3420 active cases of Corona in the country. Whereas 4 patients died due to Corona virus. After the increase in Corona cases, the Central Government also had a meeting with the Health Ministers of the states. Necessary guidelines have been given in this meeting for its prevention.
Doctors also warned
Let us tell you that now even doctors are warning people about Corona. This is the reason why masks have returned to people’s faces. The reason is the new subvariant JN.1 of Covid whose cases are increasing. But instead of getting nervous or afraid of this, people need to be careful and alert. This advice has been given by the doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Doctor Neeraj Nischal said, ‘In many states of the country, people are getting infected with the new sub-variant of COVID-JN.1. Mild symptoms are being seen in patients, hence there is a need to be alert instead of panicking.
Dr. Neeraj, Additional Professor in the Department of Medicine at AIIMS Delhi, said that we have been saying that such waves will keep coming. Even during the first and second wave, we had predicted that this virus would further mutate and a stage would come where it would become more infectious but at the same time its mortality rate would also be lower. He said, ‘People are getting infected but at the same time it is not causing the problems that were being caused by older variants of Covid, such as Delta.
‘Don’t panic if cases increase’
The doctor said, ‘The important thing is that we are more aware about this virus and we know how to deal with it. So if you see cases increasing, it shows that our surveillance system is working well and we can detect any new outbreaks or new variants. Therefore this should not be a cause for panic. This shows how well prepared we are now and I think we should be able to handle it well.
