A painful road accident has happened in Jammu and Kashmir. A bus full of pilgrims has fallen into a ditch in Jammu district. 15 people died and 15 were injured in the accident. Officials said that the accident took place at a narrow turn in Choki Chora. The officer said that the bus fell into a ditch about 150 feet.

News of a major accident is coming from Jammu and Kashmir. A bus full of pilgrims has fallen into a ditch in Jammu. 21 people have died in this accident. Jammu and Kashmir Transport Commissioner Rajinder Singh Tara said that 21 people have died and 21 people are injured due to the bus full of pilgrims falling into the ditch. Officials said that the bus was carrying pilgrims from Kurukshetra area of Haryana to Shiv Khori area, while the accident took place at a narrow turn in Choki Chora and the bus rolled down about 150 feet into the gorge, due to which this tragic accident happened.
Let us tell you that Rajinder Singh Tara said that the bus was going towards Shiv Khori. The turn here is very normal. There should not have been any problem here but perhaps the driver fell asleep. Instead of turning, the bus went straight and then fell down. Officials further said that all the injured were rushed to Akhnoor Hospital. However, the seriously injured have been referred to the Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu city. Large-scale relief and rescue operations are underway.
Mehbooba Mufti expressed grief
It is being told that about 50 passengers were on board the bus. This accident happened about 15 km from Akhnoor city. When the bus suddenly slipped off the road and fell into a deep gorge. The Indian Army has deployed the Quick Reaction Medical Team. They are helping the administration in the rescue work. Injured persons are being evacuated from the accident site and all possible help is being provided.
Let us tell you that PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti expressed grief over this accident and said that sad news is coming from Akhnoor, where 21 people have died in a bus accident. Deep sympathy and condolences to their families and loved ones.
