SDM Nisha Napit of Shahpura in Dindori district died on Sunday afternoon and her husband Manish Sharma took her to the hospital in a dead state. Manish was citing heart attack as the cause of death. But, Nisha’s sister expressed suspicion of murder, after which the post-mortem was conducted.

A big revelation has come to light in the death of Sub Divisional Officer Revenue (SDM) Nisha Napit in Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh. Nisha did not die of illness or heart failure. Her husband Manish Sharma had murdered her by pressing her face with a pillow. The police have taken the accused husband into custody.

Manish Sharma was citing heart attack as the cause of death. But, Nisha’s sister had expressed suspicion of murder. Post-mortem of Nisha’s body was conducted and the cause of murder was revealed to be suffocation.
When the police interrogated Manish on this basis, he spilled the beans. Manish had murdered Nisha by suffocating her with a pillow and to hide the evidence, he had also washed and dried the clothes in the washing machine. When the police reached the spot, they found evidence that Nisha had not died of heart failure but had been murdered.
On this basis, the police have taken Manish into custody and when interrogated, he has also confessed to his crime. According to initial information, Manish killed Nisha by suffocating her with a pillow in anger over Nisha not making him a nominee in her bank account. The police have arrested and interrogated him.
