‘Hindu Raksha Dal’ created terror to shut down KFC outlet in Ghaziabad, police filed FIR against 10 unknown people

On Thursday, Hindu Raksha Dal activists forcibly entered the KFC outlet. The protesters alleged that non-veg was being sold in the KFC outlet during the month of Saavan. The protesters had shut down KFC by raising slogans like ‘We will not let meat be sold in Saavan’.

The case of forcefully closing a KFC outlet by the people of ‘Hindu Raksha Dal’ in Indirapuram police station area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh has gained momentum. UP Police has registered a case against about 10 unknown people in this case related to the international brand. Accusing the selling of non-veg in the month of Sawan, some youths attacked the KFC outlet on Thursday and forcibly closed it.

According to the complaint, some workers of ‘Hindu Raksha Dal’ allegedly forcibly entered the KFC outlet in Vasundhara Sector-11 of Indirapuram on Thursday. The protesters alleged that non-veg was being sold in the KFC outlet in the month of Sawan. The protesters closed the KFC outlet by raising slogans ‘We will not let meat be sold in Sawan’. These workers also allegedly threatened the employees.

However, later these protesters reached the road while raising slogans. It is alleged that due to the protest, the passersby and the general public in the area had to face inconvenience and a traffic jam situation also arose for some time. The incident was reported by Sub-Inspector Ankur Singh Rathore.

According to the FIR, Sub-Inspector Ankur Singh Rathore had received information that some unknown people were protesting after seeing the KFC outlet open in Vasundhara Sector-11. On reaching the spot with Sub-Inspector Amit Kumar Chauhan and Constable Sukhveer Singh, it was confirmed that the protest was causing trouble to the general public and traffic was disrupted. It was stated in the complaint that this protest is clearly a violation of the administration’s order, which was issued keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the Kanwar Yatra and the month of Sawan.

At present, the police have registered a case against 8 to 10 protesters under Section 223 of the Indian Justice Code and the investigation of the case is going on. Assistant Police Commissioner of Indirapuram Abhishek Srivastava said in a statement, “All the accused boys are being identified. Further legal action is being ensured in this case on the basis of interrogation and evidence.”
