According to the forecast of the Jaipur Center of the Meteorological Department, on Monday, July 14, there is a possibility of very heavy rain along with thunder and lightning in Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar and Kota of Hadoti region, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand of Udaipur division, Bhilwara of Ajmer division, besides Pali and Sirohi of Jodhpur division. The department has declared a red alert in these areas. At the same time, the routes of trains have been changed due to waterlogging in Pali. 12461 Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will run through Jalore today, while 15013 Ranikhet Express will run through Merta today. According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued with a warning of heavy rain in Ajmer, Nagaur, Tonk, Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh, Jodhpur division headquarters as well as Jalore district. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Dholpur and Karauli districts. There is a possibility of lightning with thunder here.
6 killed in different accidents: Accidents are proving to be fatal amid the ongoing rain in the state. Two brothers who had gone to graze goats in Jahazpur town of Bhilwara district died due to drowning. Both the brothers drowned in the flowing water in the rainy drain. At the same time, an accident also occurred in Peepla Panchayat area of Kelwara police station area of Rajsamand district. Here a brother and sister died due to drowning in a pond. Apart from this, a teenager died after falling face down in the mud in Beawar town. A two-storey house collapsed due to lightning in Rudawal town amid the rains in Bharatpur district since Sunday night. In this accident, one person died after being buried under the debris of the house.
Rain wreaks havoc in Rajsamand, two cars washed away in water: The situation has worsened due to heavy rains in Rajsamand, Rajasthan. Big news has come out from Machind village of Khamnor police station area amid heavy rains. Heavy rains have been continuing since 3 am late night, due to which life has been affected. Two cars were washed away from outside the house in the strong flow of rainwater.
Water-water in Hadauti too: The effect of heavy rains is also visible in Kota division. Due to heavy rains in Baran district, a villager got stuck on the island of the river in Kamtha of Kishanganj area, who was taken out by the rescue team of SDRF at 11:30 pm. On Monday morning, the driver drove the bus of Rajasthan Roadways Kota Depot into the strong current in Bhanwargarh, due to which the passengers were stranded for a long time. Later, they were taken out with the help of tractors and villagers. Rain continued in Kota from late night till morning, due to which news of waterlogging has started coming from some areas. Here too, the weather department has warned of heavy rain today.
