Ambala (Haryana): People got relief from the heat due to rain following a strong storm in Ambala city.

People are facing the heat in most districts of Haryana. On Wednesday evening, the weather has changed. There is a rain alert in many districts with strong winds and storm. In Ambala, after the sultry heat throughout the day, the weather took a turn in the evening. Strong storm and dusty wind blew. Due to which people had to face trouble in movement. Due to the storm, the goods of people’s houses also fell here and there. Along with this, electricity also went off.
As the evening fell, dark clouds started hovering over the sky and the storm started in no time. Darkness prevailed after five in the evening. People traveling in vehicles stood on the side of the road. Dirt spread on the roads due to the storm. Darkness prevailed due to dense clouds at 5.30 in the evening and after that it started raining. Due to strong storm in Ambala City, the wall of Fit Gym, Reliance Digital near Manali House fell down.
Weather changed in Kurukshetra, night scene in the evening itself
The same is the condition of the weather in Kurukshetra. Dark clouds covered the sky in such a way that vehicles started moving with lights on at 6 o’clock. Along with the clouds, strong winds also started blowing, which gave relief to people from the scorching heat and heatwave that continued throughout the day. Similar weather is expected to remain till late night. During the day, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39 degrees and the minimum temperature was 27 degrees. Due to the scorching heat and heatwave, people were forced to hide in their homes after 11 o’clock, and there was emptiness in the market and public places as well.
Sunshine in the morning, storm in the evening and then rain
The mood of the weather in Yamunanagar district was seen in three forms on Wednesday. It was sunny from morning to afternoon. After four in the evening, there was a strong storm. Shortly after this, it started drizzling and rain at some places. After evening, people definitely felt relief from the heat, but the storm brought trouble with it in many areas. During the storm, many trees and electricity poles fell due to strong dusty winds, due to which the power supply of the concerned areas also stopped. People were suffering from humidity in the houses without electricity, while cold winds brought relief outside the houses.
For the last one week, people were suffering a lot from heat and humidity. During these days, the maximum temperature was recorded between 35 to 38 degree Celsius and the minimum between 25 to 28 degree Celsius. With the increase in temperature, the strong sunlight made people sweat. Clouds covered the sky with low speed of the winds, due to which humidity also made people miserable. On Wednesday morning also, the bright sunshine came out, but the winds blowing along with it brought some relief from the heat. In comparison to Tuesday, the temperature also fell by two degrees from Wednesday morning to afternoon. The temperature during the day was 36 degree Celsius, which came down by five degrees Celsius due to the rain after the storm after four in the evening. The temperature at six in the evening was 31 degree Celsius.
