Actress-turned-politician Himachal Pradesh BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s membership of Parliament is in danger. A petition has been filed in the Himachal High Court seeking cancellation of Kangana’s MPship.
Accepting this, the High Court has also issued a notice against the BJP MP. The High Court has asked Kangana to file her reply by August 21.
Actually, petitioner Layak Ram Negi has filed a petition against Kangana. In this, he has asked the court to cancel Kangana’s election. Nayak is a former employee of the Forest Department. He got VRS before time. Negi said that I wanted to contest the election but his nomination papers were wrongly rejected by the Mandi Election Officer.
Negi argues that if his nomination papers were accepted, he would have won. In the petition, Layak Ram Negi has appealed to the court that Kangana’s election should be canceled. He has demanded re-election on the Mandi seat. On this petition of Negi, Justice Jyotsna Rewal has issued a notice to Kangana and has sought a reply by August 21.

Let us tell you that Kangana won from Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal in the Lok Sabha elections. She defeated Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh by 74,755 votes. Dr. Prakash Chandra Bhardwaj of Bahujan Samajwadi Party was at number three. Bhardwaj got 4393 votes.
