On Sunday, Sareshan Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) state president Nafe Singh Rathi was killed by unknown assailants by firing bullets at his car in Jhajjar district of Haryana. Along with Nafe Singh, another worker has died in this attack. While two other people have been injured and are undergoing treatment. This information was given by a senior leader of the party. Former MLA Rathi was traveling in an SUV when he was attacked by car-borne assailants in Bahadurgarh town of Jhajjar.
Doctor Manish Sharma of Brahma Shakti Sanjeevani Hospital, Jhajjar said that the four people who were shot in the evening were brought to Brahma Shakti Sanjeevani Hospital. Two of them had heavy bleeding and were brought dead, still, we tried CPR but could not save them. Two others have been admitted to the ICU with bullet wounds on the shoulder, thigh and left side of the chest. Former MLA Nafe Singh and another person Jaikishan were brought dead. He was shot in the neck, back and shoulder. Multiple wounds indicated that multiple rounds had been fired.
Eyewitnesses said that the attackers who came in a car had showered bullets on Nafe Singh’s car. During the attack the criminals fired more than 50 to 60 rounds. Regarding the incident, Jhajjar SP Arpit Jain said that teams of CIA and STF are working. The accused will be arrested soon. A police officer said that the attackers were in a car. The officer said that the reason for the crime is not yet known.
