Haryana: Earthquake of magnitude 2.6 hits Rohtak

According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 2.6 magnitude occurred at 11.26 pm on Sunday night. The epicenter of the earthquake was Khedi Sadh village, 7 km east south-east of Rohtak, Haryana. Movement has been recorded five kilometers below the earth.

Let us tell you that earlier on the 5th of September, earthquake had occurred twice in the same day. The first tremor of the earthquake occurred at 12:27 pm and the second tremor occurred at 1:44 am. That means after a short interval the earthquake occurred for the second time. The epicenter of the earthquake that occurred at 12:27 was village Polangi and its intensity was 2.6, whereas the epicenter of the earthquake that occurred at 01:44 was village Asan, the intensity of this earthquake was recorded at 2.7.
