Hailstorm lashes Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat

Along with the rain, hail also fell from the sky. At the same time, the temperature dropped after the rain.

After sunshine throughout the day in the district on Friday, the weather changed in the evening and it started raining at night. It drizzled on Saturday morning also. On Saturday, cold wind blew throughout the day and sometimes it was sunny and sometimes it was densely cloudy. In the evening the weather changed again and the sky became densely cloudy. After this suddenly it started raining heavily. Along with the rain, there was also hailstorm. Due to change in weather, day and night temperatures have decreased by two degrees. The maximum temperature of the district on Saturday was 23 degrees and the minimum temperature was 15 degrees.

Here on Friday night and Saturday the wind blew at a speed of 20 km per hour throughout the day. Due to strong wind, people felt slight cold. Due to the strong wind on Saturday, dust kept flying, which increased the problems of the people. On Sunday the wind will blow at a speed of 10 to 12 km per hour.

Agricultural scientists say that the light rain on Friday will not cause any damage to the crop. There is a possibility of loss in wheat and mustard crops due to crop failure due to strong wind. Dr. Devendra Singh of Krishi Vigyan Kendra says that there is no harm to the crop due to rain. In fields which are already filled with water, production will be affected due to crop failure due to strong winds. Due to fall of mustard crop, the grains will get spoiled and production will be affected.
