Gunmen have attacked a coal mine in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. According to reports, 20 miners were killed and 7 others injured. It is being reported that the attack took place late Thursday night in Duki district, where the gunmen surrounded the houses of people living near the mine and started firing indiscriminately.
Police officer Humayun Khan Nasir said most of the dead and injured were from Pashtun-speaking areas of Balochistan, and three Afghan nationals were among the dead.
