A horrific road accident has occurred near Nadiad on Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway. 10 people have died in this road accident. The death toll may increase further. The accident happened when the car rammed into the back of the trailer. The car was going from Vadodara to Ahmedabad. As soon as the accident occurred, two ambulances of 108 reached the spot, along with this the patrolling team of Express Highway also reached the spot.
After the accident, there is a jam on the Vadodara-Ahmedabad Express Highway. The accident was so gruesome that the Ertiga car had to be cut to remove the dead bodies. Eight people in the car died on the spot when the car collided with the tanker from behind on the Expressway, while two died during treatment. Ertiga car was coming from Vadodara towards Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Nadiad rammed into the back of the damaged tanker and a major accident occurred.
Meanwhile, the statement of Kheda SP Rajesh Gadhvi has also come out. He said that “Due to a technical fault, a tanker was standing on the Vadodara-Ahmedabad Expressway. A car carrying 10 people collided with the parked tanker, out of which 8 people died on the spot. 2 were injured. He was taken to the hospital but he also died. The administration immediately took out the dead bodies and efforts are being made to contact the family members to complete the further legal process. Has been done.”
The accident car is from Ahmedabad passing and its registration number is GJ27 EC 2578. At present the dead have not been identified. Police have started investigation to identify the deceased on the basis of car number and Aadhar card details.
