Indian-American singer and entrepreneur Chandrika Tandon won the Grammy Award in the ‘Best New Age, Ambient or Chant Album’ category for the album ‘Triveni’.
Tandon, the elder sister of former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, won the award along with her colleagues South African flutist Wouter Kellermans and Japanese cellist Eru Matsumoto.
The 67th edition of the biggest music awards ceremony organised by the Recording Academy was held at the Cryptodotcom Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.

In the Best New Age, Ambient or Chant Album category, ‘Break of Dawn’ – Ricky Kej, ‘Opus’ – Ryuichi Sakamoto, ‘Chapter Two: How Dark It Is Before Dawn’ – Anushka Shankar and ‘Warriors of Light’ – Radhika Vekariya were also nominated.
Apart from this, former US President Jimmy Carter was given the Grammy Award posthumously.
Nobel Peace Prize winner and 39th US President Jimmy Carter died on 29 December 2024. He was 100 years old.
Before his death, Carter was nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award in the category of ‘Audio Book, Narration and Storytelling Recording’ for ‘Last Sunday in Plains: A Centennial Celebration’. The recording also features musicians Darius Rucker, Lee Ann Rimes and Jon Batiste.
