सरकार ने तेल रहित चावल की भूसी पर निर्यात प्रतिबंध अगले साल 31 मार्च तक बढ़ाया
The central government has extended the export ban on deoiled rice bran till March 31 next year. Let us tell you, the ban on its export continues since July. “The ban on export of deoiled rice bran has been extended till March 31, 2024,” the Directorate General of Foreign Trade said in a notification.
According to experts, increase in animal feed prices is a major reason for increasing milk prices in the country. Banning exports can help in increasing the availability of the product in the domestic market, thereby curbing rates.
However, the Solvent Extractors Association of India had asked the government to reconsider the decision to ban exports as the move is likely to have minimal impact on animal feed and milk prices.
According to estimates, about 25 percent of rice bran is used in cattle feed.
