Every day new revelations are being made in the murder case of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. In this case, Rajasthan Police in collaboration with Delhi Crime Branch has arrested three accused from Chandigarh. Meanwhile, Gogamedi’s third wife and eyewitness Sapna Soni, who was present in the house at the time of Gogamedi’s murder, has been interrogated by the police and her statement has been recorded. It is being told that Gogamedi’s third wife Sapna has given many important information to the police.
According to the report of ‘Aaj Tak’, Sapna Soni told that for the last 11 years she was living with Sukhdev Gogamedi in the same house where Gogamedi was murdered. She told that she was present in a room on the upper floor of the house when the incident took place.
Sapna told that on the day Gogamedi was murdered i.e. on the afternoon of 5th December, many people had started coming and going to the house. During this time, I called Sukhdev Gogamedi upstairs regarding some work. But he said that 3 boys have come to meet me, I will come after some time. After this she went to sleep inside the house.
Sapna told that after some time the sound of firing was heard. He said that when I came out to the balcony and saw, the same youth who was sitting below was seen running away after firing. Sapna told that when I came down and saw Sukhdev Gogamedi lying soaked in blood. Along with the people present there, she took Gogamedi to a private hospital in the car. But by then Gogamedi had died.
Sapna told that from the time of the incident till the last moment, I was with Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Sapna said that now I am being placed under house arrest. Sapna also told that Sukhdev Gogamedi used to share everything with her first. He told that Gogamedi had received threats many times before, about which he had informed. Sapna told that now her house is under police guard. He demanded the government and police to give strict punishment to the accused.
