Radisson Hotel built in Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh is again in the headlines. Hotel owner Karan Jain has received death threats. Jain alleged that some boys came to the hotel and threatened to throw him down from the seventh floor. Jain accused BJP Rajya Sabha MP Anil Aggarwal of pressurizing those who made the threats to mediate. Police have registered a case against two people in this matter.
Karan Jain told the police that he was sitting in the office of KM Trade Tower on the seventh floor of the hotel. At around 12.00 noon on September 13, the office staff informed about some boys threatening to vacate the office. When I came out, I saw that some people were misbehaving with the staff. He misbehaved with me too. The number of boys was about five. He threatened to throw him down from the seventh floor. The accused also tried to cause physical harm.
Karan Jain told that Rohit Tomar tried to call on PCR from my office, which failed. After this, he called the Kaushambi police post in-charge and informed him about the entire incident. After which the police of Kaushambi police station came to the hotel. The entire incident has been captured in CCTV footage. We have also shown the footage to the police.
According to Karan Jain, ‘When I was telling the entire incident to the police, I got a call from BJP Rajya Sabha MP Anil Aggarwal. They asked me to talk to the people who threatened me. He also said that otherwise he would not be able to stop these people (threaters). They can go to any extent. After this incident, my life is in danger.
Rajya Sabha MP Anil Aggarwal’s statement has also come out on this issue. He has said in clarification that the allegations leveled against him are baseless. The police have written his name in the FIR without investigation. There is definitely someone else’s mind behind this. The police neither investigated the call nor investigated the matter.
At present, Kaushambi police station has registered a case under sections 147, 504, 506 of IPC against Gaurav Aggarwal, Deepak Ahlawat and unknown people on the complaint of Radisson Hotel owner Karan Jain. In the FIR, the hotel owner has described Gaurav Aggarwal as a relative of Rajya Sabha MP Anil Aggarwal.
