Five people were killed and more than 10 others injured after an explosion in the reactor of a pharmaceutical factory in Sangareddy district on Wednesday, police said. The fire was caused by the explosion that occurred around 5 pm.
A senior police officer told PTI that the reactor at the pharma company exploded and people nearby were affected. Due to the explosion, people fell some distance away. So far four people have died. 10-15 people have been injured. He has been taken to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
