Police has taken action in the case of murder of a journalist in Araria, Bihar. Police have arrested four accused.

The police have arrested four accused in the case of murdering a journalist by breaking into a house in Ranjiganj area of Araria, Bihar. Earlier, while talking to the press, Inspector General of Police Suresh Prasad Chaudhary had told that we have detained some people. Our 4 teams are conducting raids at different places. We have received some information and based on that we are hopeful of success. Strict action will be taken in the case so that such incidents do not happen again.

Journalist Vimal Kumar was shot dead by miscreants in Raniganj area of Araria, Bihar on Friday. Criminals called journalist Vimal Kumar out of his residence in Raniganj’s Prem Nagar on Friday morning. As soon as they opened the door and left the house, the criminals shot them. He died on the spot due to bullet injury. The criminals came riding on a bike. After carrying out the incident, the miscreants escaped from the spot.
Two years ago, Vimal’s elder brother was also killed by criminals. Vimal was the main witness in this case. It is suspected that miscreants may have targeted him due to being a witness.
