मध्यप्रदेश में लंदन का प्रसिद्ध कार्डियोलॉजिस्ट बताकर फर्जी डॉक्टर ने किया दिल का ऑपरेशन, 7 की मौत
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has launched an inquiry into the death of seven people after they were allegedly treated by a fake cardiologist at a missionary hospital in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district, officials said on Sunday.
NHRC member Priyank Kanungo said a team of the National Human Rights Commission will be in Damoh from April 7 to 9 to investigate the matter.
According to a complaint filed by a local resident with the NHRC, a person named Dr N John Kam, working in the hospital, claimed to be educated and trained abroad.
The complainant claimed that the person’s real name is Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav. The complaint alleged that he misled patients by misusing the name of Britain’s renowned cardiologist Professor John Kam and his wrong treatment led to the death of patients.
The hospital authorities could not be contacted on this issue.
Kanungo wrote in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ on Friday that a case of untimely death of seven people has come to light in a missionary hospital in Damoh, where a fake doctor was treating heart disease.
According to the complaint, the said missionary hospital comes under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana, hence government funds have also been misused.
He said that the National Human Rights Commission has ordered an inquiry.
