Ex-Pak PM Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi Sentenced To 17 Years In Toshakhana 2 Case

Special court judge Shahrukh Arjumand delivered the verdict in this case at the high-security Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where Imran Khan is imprisoned. Both were also fined 16.4 million rupees.

A special court of Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to 17 years in prison each in the Toshakhana corruption case. The case involves the purchase of an expensive Bulgari jewelry set, gifted to Imran Khan by the Saudi Crown Prince during an official visit in May 2021, at a significantly undervalued price.

Both fined Rs 16.4 million

Special court judge Shahrukh Arjumand pronounced the verdict in the high-security Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where Imran Khan is currently imprisoned. Both were also fined Rs 16.4 million each.

Khan and Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 10 years each under Section 409 (criminal breach of trust) of the Pakistan Penal Code and seven years each under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Imran Khan imprisoned since 2023

The verdict was delivered by Special Judge Shahrukh Arjumand in a special courtroom set up inside Adiala Jail. It is worth noting that Imran Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023 in connection with various cases. Earlier, in January 2025, Imran Khan was also sentenced to 14 years and Bushra Bibi to 7 years in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
