Earthquake tremors were felt in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand today i.e. Monday morning. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 3.0 on the Richter scale. However, no information has been received so far about any loss of life due to this. Light tremors of earthquake were also felt in the district headquarters including Purola, Barkot, Mori.
District Disaster Management Officer Devendra Patwal gave information about this. He said that information has been taken from all the Tehsil police stations through Delta via telephone, that there has been no loss of life or loss of animals anywhere due to the earthquake.
